Litany into Love
Lord, bless this uncharted time and all its challenges,
alien to our comfort and our habits.
And deliver us from our fear into Your Love.
Lord bless our angst,
that we may realize Your face behind the mirror that reflects only our terror.
And deliver us from our fear into Your Love.
Lord bless our emptiness,
that we may use the gift of space in time that educates our hearts.
And deliver us from our fear into Your love.
Lord bless our desperation,
that we may remember
that You connect the world unseen with everything we see and touch.
And deliver us from our fear into Your love.
Lord bless our solitude,
that we may hear the cloud of witnesses that call our names.
And deliver us from our fear into Your love.
May we not waste this time of waiting.
Good Lord, deliver us from fear.
May we come to accept Your dance of uncertainty and assurance.
Good Lord, deliver us from fear.
And finally, may we know that You are writing this story with us and not against us.
Good Lord deliver us
into Your Love.
