Now is the Giving Time

Now is the giving time.

I rest in the winter of my years,

for I have been given a diamond star, and I am wrapped in Light,

in a peace such as I have never known.

Now is the giving time.

Astonished, I step inside this place of wholeness,

into this undiscovered country of Grace,

where winged creatures speak a language I somehow understand,

where trees converse, and flowers reveal the truth of sorrow,

where the river of gratitude flows with unending music into infinite abundance.

I bow to this place where gifts tumble into my heart and out again,

gifts as unnumbered as the familiar grains of sand,

to be given to those who need, to anyone who passes,

by the effortless beauty of sharing Light.
