A TRAIL OF BREADCRUMBS
The Journey of Healing and Growth
Saturday, Sept. 17
10:00 am - 1:00 pm, Eastern Time on ZOOM

Featuring Catherine Wilson and hosted by Linda Brown

Catherine Wilson, friend and colleague of author and School faculty member Linda Brown, will share excerpts from her upcoming book, A Trail of Breadcrumbs - A Poetic Memoir of Survival, Healing and Spiritual Growth.

Linda and Catherine collaborated on the book, and they will begin the workshop with some comments about their experience of working together.

With readings from the book as prompts, they will explore various themes that are part of the journey of healing and growth:

     ~The search for authenticity
     ~Moving from victimhood to empowerment
     ~Healing relationships
~The support we find in nature
~The hope and spiritual connection that is found through self-understanding

Throughout the workshop, there will be opportunities for reflection and discussion for all participants to explore their own unique journey home to the authentic Self.

"It is a great pleasure to introduce this profound and sparkling collection of poems, essays, and commentaries...that entertains and teaches, evokes our compassion, and encourages our self-understanding."
~Gloria Karpinski, author of Where Two Worlds Touch

"We all need stories,
and I am the only one
who can tell mine.
I will throw my stories into the air
so they have some chance to fly--
some chance to sing to another heart."
~Catherine Wilson

For the past forty years, Catherine Wilson has shared her writing and music in keynote presentations, workshops, retreats, and community events, including three original one-woman shows. Her upcoming book, which will be the foundation of our workshop, includes a Guide for Going Deeper by co-author and psychologist, Lyndall Johnson. Future workshops and retreats will be offered when the book is released.

Catherine has been a supporter of The School since our doors opened and has attended many of our programs. We are delighted to introduce her as a guest presenter to share her experience and wisdom with us. To learn more about her, visit www.groundedvisions.com
