There is Only One Sound
The storm that rages in the wind rages in your heart.
There is only one sky, one tree of life.
There is only one sound, and that is the sound of
Love.
Remember you are the rain and you are the wheat that feeds.
You are the birds, you are the singing and crawling creatures.
You burn when the forest burns. You are parched with the dessert.
You are the creators and the destroyers.
By your thoughts you give pain. By your thoughts you take away pain.
When the river floods you are overflowing waters. When my children drown, you drown. When they are saved you are saved.
When you pray something changes always. My hand reaches out to your hand, always.
When I hear your heart something changes.
Remember you are the flowers of the planet.
You live and you die but you are eternal as the universe is eternal.
Every flower of the planet is written into the mind of God. Do you not think that is so of every human being?
I am your Mother, could I have forgotten you?
As you remember your own children’s faces,
So the shape of your features is written into my memory and you are dear to me.
You are not forgotten and you are never forsaken.
There is only one sky, one tree of life.
There is only one sound, and that is the sound of Love.
(This poem is one of a number of writings received by me from Mother Mary during meditation.)
